Belted Galloways from Kangaroo Valley, NSWAlcheringa is a small stud producing high quality pure-bred 'Belties' in the beautiful Kangaroo Valley on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia. We concentrate on producing smaller animals with especially docile temperaments.
Also we strongly recommend acquiring several weaned steers (8-10 months old) as a starter herd. They are easy to handle, readily tamed and great for kids too, with no worries about bull handling, mating or birthing until your confidence has developed. |

Because we are small area farmers
ourselves and drop outs from the big smoke, we understand the issues and
challenges facing others in the same position. We can advise on animal
selection, property preparation, husbandry and general farm management. We can
also provide on-going support while you gain experience and confidence.
We
can arrange introductory seminars, including hands-on experience for those new
to farming or cattle handling.
